Effective date: October 8, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Aurora Biomarketing (“Aurora”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses and protects personal information when you visit aurorabiomarketing.com (the “Site”) or contact us through it.
Information we collect
Information you give us. When you use a form on the Site we collect what you enter:
- Contact form: your name, email address and message.
- Research and resource requests (for example, our complimentary Research Brief): your first and last name, business email address, company, job title and whether you have opted in to marketing emails.
Information collected automatically. When you submit a request form we also record how you reached the Site: campaign tags in the link you followed (such as utm_source or utm_campaign), the website that referred you and the first page you visited. Like most websites, we and our service providers also collect technical information such as your IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed and the date and time of your visit, through server logs, cookies and similar technologies (see “Cookies and analytics” below).
How we use your information
- To respond to your enquiries and provide the resources you request, including emailing you a download link.
- To follow up about your interest in our services, research and reports.
- To send occasional marketing emails about our research and insights, but only if you have opted in. You can unsubscribe at any time.
- To understand how visitors use the Site and which campaigns bring them here, so we can improve our content.
- To protect the Site and our forms against spam, abuse and security threats.
- To comply with legal obligations.
Receiving a complimentary resource never requires you to agree to marketing emails.
If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we rely on these legal bases: your consent (marketing emails, and analytics cookies where consent is required); taking steps at your request (responding to enquiries and sending requested resources); and our legitimate interests in operating, securing and improving the Site and in following up on business enquiries.
Cookies and analytics
We use Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics to measure Site traffic and how visitors interact with pages, forms and downloads. Google Analytics sets cookies (such as _ga) and processes information such as your IP address, device and browser details, and the pages you visit. We use Google reCAPTCHA to protect our forms from spam. reCAPTCHA collects hardware and software information and sends it to Google for analysis. Google’s use of this information is governed by the Google Privacy Policy and Terms of Service. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and you can opt out of Google Analytics with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
How we share information
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run the Site and our business, and only as needed for that purpose:
- Website hosting: Hostinger hosts the Site and its database, including form submissions and backups.
- Email: Google Workspace sends the emails generated by the Site, such as form notifications and resource download emails, and hosts our email.
- Analytics and security: Google provides Tag Manager, Analytics and reCAPTCHA.
We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of business assets.
Where your information is stored
Form submissions are stored in our website’s administration system and in the email inboxes of the Aurora team members who respond to them. Our service providers may process information in the United States and other countries, which may have different data-protection laws from your own. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for these transfers.
How long we keep it
We keep form submissions for as long as needed to respond to you and manage our relationship with you, and then delete them. If you ask us to, we will delete your information sooner, unless we must keep it for legal reasons. Copies may remain in routine website backups for a limited period until those backups are replaced.
Your choices and rights
You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the link in any marketing email or by contacting us. Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that already took place. To exercise these rights, contact us using the details below. We will not discriminate against you for exercising them. If you are in the EEA or UK, you may also complain to your local data-protection authority.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information. No website or internet transmission is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children
The Site is intended for business professionals and is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Links to other websites
The Site may link to websites we do not operate. Their own privacy policies govern how they handle your information.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The effective date at the top shows when it last changed.
